Mango Chow


This is a super yummy way of eating mango! In Trinidad we tend to season our fruits and include pepper sauce! It's more on the spicy side, but you can alter the pepper to suit your taste buds.


The aim is to get fruits in! Having it in this way may encourage you to include it in your diet which has a positive impact on your lifestyle!




Mango benefits:

- higher dietary fibre

- high in antioxidants

- can improve digestion

- boosts immune system









Ingredients:

  • 1-2 mangoes

  • 3 cilantro leaves

  • 1 tsp. black pepper

  • 1 whole pepper (or 1 tbsp. pepper sauce)

  • 1 garlic

  • sprinkle salt (minimal)


Method:

Wash and slice mango. Remove the skin. Slice into small pieces. Blend seasoning and mix it all together and enjoy!
