Healthy Brownie mix!

This is my favourite brownie mix recipe! It's pure oat flour mix with some wheat flour and cocoa powder based! Try this yummy treat for any special occasions.

Oat benefits:

> can lower saturated fats

> high dietary fibre

> keeps you full for longer

> heart healthy

Dark chocolate benefits:

> antioxidant properties

> helps with blood pressure management

> Can raise HDL

Honey benefits:

> sugar substitute

> doesn't spike blood sugars

> can help with digestive issues

> antioxidants

Ingredients:

  • 1 brownie mix (order from Didi)

  • 1 chocolate chip pack

  • 1/2-3/4 cup honey

  • 1/4 cup oil

  • 1- 2 egg whites

  • 2 tsp. vanilla essence

  • water for consistency

Method:

Beat/Wisk wet ingredients together with water. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and lightly mix together (add wet to dry) and fold in chocolate chips.

Using a baking dish of choice (depending on shape, about 9 inch) add the mixture. It may fit in a large and small if you want that layered appearance. Bake for about 30-40 minutes at 350 degrees F or until you see tiny air pockets or it leaves the edges of the pan and raises. Remove and allow to cool. Slice and enjoy.
