Geera Curry Chicken

When it comes to curry, I can never get enough! This was a mix of geera and curry! I hope you guys try it because it's definitely my go to when I have to cook chicken. I love it. My plate is balanced with breadfruit, which is a local staple and salad. It's actually a well balanced, low calorie meal. Curry isn't unhealthy. It's honestly all about what you put in it and I used NO oil!




Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp. curry, geera, masala

  • 1 pimento, tomato, garlic, onion, bandania, pepper, rosemary, curry leaves

  • 1 chicken leg

  • 1/2 cup breadfruit

Salad:

  • half cucumber

  • lettuce leaves

  • half bell pepper

  • grated carrots


Method:

Blend seasonings. Clean and remove all visible fat from chicken. Cook down curry, geera, masala with water. Season chicken and add to the pot with curry geera mix. Cook down.

Wash and slice up salad. Roast breadfruit over fire and remove the outside skin. Slice up and enjoy with salad.
