I decided to try this yummy recipe that I made up based on a picture I saw online of a chocolate filled cookie! It surprisingly turned out amazing!
If you're a chocolate lover like me, you need to try this! I was sweating after I made these because the kitchen got pretty HOT.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup oats
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
2 tbsp. cocoa powder
1/2 cup low fat/ almond milk
2 red cherries
Method:
Heat the milk and cocoa powder in a pot until it combines well. Blend oats by itself and then mix it with the peanut butter, cinnamon, and cocoa mix. After mixing these ingredients, form small balls with your hand and then press your thumb in the center. Do this until the mixture is used up.
In a small bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave. Fill the center of the cookies and enjoy! You can leave them in the fridge to harden a little more.
